The City Vault
This is a photo looking into the old city vault. The walls, floor, and ceiling were constructed of 14 inch thick reinforced concrete with double steel doors with combination locks. The vault is 15' by 15' and was used to store all of the important city documents including the tax rolls, vital statistics, cemetery records and cash on hand.
