Enterprise is located in
Dickinson,
[DK], County on the Smoky Hill River. It's a great location
in scenic country with lots of woods and streams. Abilene is six miles away, and
I-70 is only four. The Santa Fe railroad passes through town.
 Enterprise has great parks; the big
traditional park offers playgrounds and picnic areas. There's also an ecological
park and nature trail built by the Lions.
There are many beautiful buildings and homes in town. Some are downtown, but others can only be found by wandering around town.  One of the great ways to come to Enterprise
is on the Abilene and Smoky Valley. The excursion train brings visitors to town from
Abilene, crossing the Smoky Hill just west of Enterprise.
It runs on track that was once part of the Rock Island.
