August 1, 2002

The Moran City Council met in special session on Thursday, August 1, 2002. Mayor Phillip Merkel called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Councilmembers present were James Mueller, Mike Holman, Jerry Wallis, Warren Johnson, and Chryll Ginn. Also present was Lori Evans, City Clerk.

INTERVIEWS

Councilmember Ginn moved the Council meet in executive session at 6:45 PM for 40 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel matters. Clerk Evans and Lesa Cole were invited to attend the session. Wallis seconded the motion, motion passed with all approving. Council returned to open meeting at 7:16 PM with no action taken.

The Council took a break from 7:19 PM to 7:25 PM.

Councilmember Johnson moved the Council meet in executive session at 7:26 PM for 45 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel matters. Clerk Evans and Deborah Wagner were invited to attend the session. Mueller seconded the motion, motion passed with all approving. Council returned to open meeting at 8:06 PM with no action taken.

Councilmember Mueller moved the Council meet in executive session at 8:09 PM for 45 minutes to discuss non-elected personnel matters. Clerk Evans and Lynn Heskett were invited to attend the session. Ginn seconded the motion, motion passed with all approving. Council returned to open meeting at 8:54 PM with Councilmember Mueller moving the Clerk process background checks on two applicants. Johnson seconded the motion, motion passed with all approving. The Council will review the applicants at the regular council meeting to be held Monday, August 5, 2002.
