The Moran City Council met in special session on Monday, October 8, 2008. Mayor Phillip Merkel called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Councilmembers present were Mike Holman, Jerry Jackman, James Mueller, Warren Johnson, and James Cole. Also present were Lori Evans, City Clerk and Mike Stodgell, City Superintendent.
Water Project Costs and Change Orders – The Council reviewed the change order additions for the original project and the extension. After discussion, Councilmember Mueller moved to approve the $95,316.27 change order which includes an increase of $17,070.00 for the original project, the bid of $71,380.00 for the Chestnut/Cedar Streets projects, and a change order increase of $3,866.27 to the Chestnut/Cedar Street bid. Cole seconded the motion, motion passed with all approving.
There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilmember Johnson moved the meeting adjourn at 7:27 PM. Mueller seconded the motion, motion passed with unanimous approval.
